Little Library

Thanks to the generosity of our neighbor, Debra Gillespie, Hamilton Grove has its own Little Free Library.  It is located on the grassy area between the driveways at the pool a few feet from the sidewalk.  The structure should be installed and ready for use by the end of the month, weather permitting.

What is Little Free Library?

Little Free Library (LFL) is a "take a book, return a book" free book exchange.  It's a small wooden box from which anyone may take a book or bring a book to share.  If you want to donate a book, simply place it in the box; if you find a book in the box that interests you, take it and enjoy! You do not need to return a book you take from the LFL.  This self-sustaining book exchange functions on the honor system so there's no signing out/in books.

More information about the nonprofit Little Free Library can be found on its website www.littlefreelibrary.org. Its mission...

To promote literacy and the love of reading by building free book exchanges worldwide and to build a sense of community...
